Using up older clementines

[X-Posted from my own journal]
Although we were pretty good about using up perishables before we went away, I still had some fruit left. The apples were fine. The 5 clementines are, however, almost certainly past their edible best, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with them. (If the apples were an issue I could make crumble - but I'm not convinced by orange crumble.)

Any ideas?

I'd make a drink with them, plus a lemon if you have an unwaxed one.

Wash the fruit, thinly peel any unwaxed (organic) fruit and add the peel to boiling water - about half a cup per fruit - boil for 5 mins and leave to cool. This should be fairly fruit-flavoured - if not reboil and let some of the liquid evaporate.

Add a small amount of sugar or honey, to taste, to the liquid and the juice from all the fruit - of not drinking the same day bring to boil rapidly and then cool before refrigerating.
